Socks and Sandals, Singlets and Thongs, and other National Stereotypes

We want to take a light-hearted and good-natured (take it easy serious easily-offended types) at how the world views each of our nationalities. I have polled a few friends from around the world (to give me the stereotypes of their own countrymen) to help get things started but would love you to add your nationality and/or stereotype to the list or comment or change it if your nationality already appears.

I'll start us off:

I am Australian.
This means I dont take anything seriously. I wear singlets and thongs (on my feet) at all times including weddings and funerals. The only job I can hold down in the UK is working in a pub. I know how to wrestle a crocodile. I have a kangaroo as a pet. I am a great surfer and everyone that I know is a great surfer. I am tall. I have curly hair. I love watching Neighbours. I am completely obsessed with sport and in particular beating the English at it. (Wait a minute, that one is true..)

I am Welsh.
This means I am not very smart but have a beautiful singing voice. I live in a town that I cannot pronounce. My surname is either Jones or Evans.

I am English.
This means I am very polite even when other people REALLY piss me off. Conversely, I am a soccer hooligan. I wear sandals with socks. I only eat and drink in English pubs even when I am in Spain. By the way, I ONLY go to Spain for holidays. I love the Royal family. I love warm beer.

I am Scottish.
This means I am really tight assed. My life is very similar to those in Train Spotting. I ONLY barrack for either Rangers or Celtic.

I am Danish.
This means I wave the Danish flag a lot. A LOT. I am very polite but slightly strange in my dealings with other European folk. I have blonde hair and an incredibly beautiful girlfriend. I love porn (we invented it you know). I am NOT German.
