In January we stayed in Singapore at a hostel called The Travellers Rest Stop. It was right near Chinatown and had everything that you would want right in the middle of the city. It was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful. We stayed in a 6 bed dorm and the only thing we could complain about was the Israeli girls snoring. I am not a huge fan of the city, but we were there as a stopover and the staff and the hostel made it a very worthwhile stay. Highly recommended.
